Happiness lies in the present!

While reading this statement, most of us would fail to realize the essence, but it is vital and of great significance that we all strive to dwell in present and enjoy the momentary joy. Nowadays, when we are living a life that is detached of the present and momentary appraisal. So, it is important that you start noticing and counting the “present” momentary happiness and tiny “smiling” moments from your day-to-day life.

Look at it from a child’s perspective

Have you ever observed children? Children take notice of every tiny thing and rejoice. Go for a walk with a kid in morning, and try to attend fully to the kid and participate in his activities. You will definitely notice how happier you feel by the end of that morning walk.

Take some time away from the technology!

Try staying away from cellular phones and laptop or workstation during the weekends and you will notice how many moments of happiness you are collecting. Time off or away from this latest technology is, nowadays, a rare blessing.

Stay Close to Nature

Taking moments to appreciate the beauty of nature and giving importance to the momentary beauty of nature adds a lot to the level of happiness. You may enjoy paying attention to the light breeze, or looking closely to the fresh and colored flowers, or walking on wet grass or the sandy beach. Moreover, for all these things, you need not plan an entire week of holidays; you can have short and happiness-boosting moments anywhere and anytime!

 Exercise or Yoga?

Well, both are effective and if you like, you may try both of them. Exercise, has been found to enhance the level of happiness and satisfaction with life in males and females. Yoga and other mediation practices also are helpful ways to enhance your happiness and life satisfaction. Some people regard dance as a merged form of art and exercise. You may try dancing on your favorite melody and observe the effect it has on you!

Find your unique ways!

Happiness is also commonly known as “subjective well being”, implying that happiness is a subjective experience. So, we all may have to find our unique ways and strategies that are subjective and unique to our needs only, in order to fill our life with happy moments.
